ABOUT THE CLUB

THE SUSSEX BRITISH MOTORCYCLE OWNERS CLUB was formed in May 1986 to cater for anyone owning or having an interest in British motorcycles and meets every Monday evening, except Bank Holidays, from 8pm to 10pm at the Clymping Village Hall on the A259 (50 yards from the Ford road roundabout). As part of the Clymping Sports and Social Club we enjoy use of the Village Hall facilities including the bar and a large car park with hard standing for motorcycles. We undertake regular runs and attend many shows as you can see from our annual calendar So if you like to socialise with like minded people, ride motorcycles, restore them or just talk about them then this is the Club for you. Although the Club covers a lot of activities it is informal and at times, CHAOTIC!! Why not drop in to see us, we are a friendly bunch and visitors are very welcome and if you like what you see perhaps you’ll join us. Membership only costs £20 which includes your first year subscription

          The Engineerium Run

                 APRIL 23rd

The Engineerium at The Droveway, Hove, BN3 7QA is a 150 year old Victorian Pumping station which at present is NOT open to the public. It boasts many machines but pride of place is the 6 ton steam driven beam engine. If you enter the Engineerium Run you will have free access to this facility which will be running on the day.

Both Destination Triumph and Chandlers BMW will be in attendance with their new models. Catering facilities will be available and tarmac hard standing for your motorcycles.  It is a modest £10 (or £12 if your bike is after 2000) to enter per rider (£15 on the day) and £5 for a passenger and the marked routes for the runs which both start from and return to The Engineerium will take you on a leisurely short run (35 miles) or long run (65 miles) around the local roads.
