THE MARTLET MOTORCYCLE RUN

(formerly the Engineerium Run)

OPEN TO CLASSIC AND MODERN MOTORCYCLES


SUNDAY 19th APRIL 2020


A classic motorcycle charity event for all 2 and 3 wheel vehicles, but any motorcycle irrespective of age is more than welcome. This event is being organised by the Sussex British Motorcycle Owners Club and the proceeds will go to Kamelia Kids Children Centre in Worthing, a local registered children's charity for children both able bodied and those with learning difficulties and disabilities.


The Start and Finish this year will be from the SBMOC club home base at Clymping Village Hall  which is one mile west of Littlehampton on the A259. Registration opens at 9.00am and first bike will leave at 10.00am. Hot food, tea or coffee will be available at the start and finish, free for those who enter before the day of the event. The event will entail following an unmarked route but with an accompanying  route card and map for approximately 65 miles, but there is also a shorter route available of 35 miles.  At the finish there will be concours judging 1.30-2.30pm with awards presented immediately after the judging.  There will be 3 awards.  Best in show.  Best pre-1960.  Best post-1960.   Riders are respectfully reminded to return to the Village Hall to support the event and the awards ceremony.  


Pre-booked early bird entries on or before Saturday 1st April are £12 per rider and £5 per passenger. Modern bikes from the year 2000 onwards the fee will be £14 per rider and £5 per passenger. Later entries or entries on the day will be accepted, subject to availability, at a fee of £15 and £5 per passenger. Entry fees are non refundable.  Your route card and riding number will be given to you on the day at registration.    Additional forms can be obtained from the SBMOC website www.sbmoc.vpweb.co.uk or from Richard Bennett (SAE if the form is to be posted) at the address below, or, via email.
